Hey everyone! I had fun with this challenge and hope to see more in the future. Google doesn’t like my site, but the other search engines do.

Organic Search Traffic: 1380 (nearly all non-Google)

Who knows, maybe Google will become a source of traffic again, but if not, Bing, Duck Duck Go, and Yahoo show potential. I’m going to continue with the site, even though Google killed it on their end. It has potential to become a local service business site with a huge blog, or a lead gen site.

Another month of 100% growth, which makes me feel like the site has pretty good potential. It’s starting to have days where traffic spikes much more than the average. Hopefully, this trend continues and those spikes become the norm.

I still have a ton of articles to make this site anywhere near complete. It’s maybe covered 5-10% of the topic… It also has the potential of adding a local physical business aspect to it. Have a great March, everyone!

Sessions are up 135% from last month, so it’s looking pretty good! I’m hopeful that traffic will continue to rise.

I’ve been busy and have failed at doing anything other than posting unedited posts. I feel like if I go in and do some content optimization and internal links, this site has a lot of potential.

Clearly, I’m playing the volume game here with 786 posts so far, but the topic has far more opportunity. I’m guessing it could have 10k articles…

The challenge will be optimizing that many posts. Basically impossible! So, I’ll pick and choose the articles that have received traffic with no optimization and start there.

Google Analytics 116 Users & 125 organic sessions (+77 / +79 from last month)

I had some nice traffic growth in December from non-Google search engines. Hopefully, Google will follow suit. I still need to work on images and internal linking. Ugh… the time consuming stuff! Happy New Year, everyone!

I didn’t do much in month 2 besides post articles that were auto-scheduled each day. The site has 466 total articles and had 46 organic sessions in November. I need to start optimizing these live posts ASAP!!! Good luck and have a great December!

Month 2 Update: I’ve been steadily posting unedited articles. Now that I have all posts drafted through the end of the challenge, I really need to go back and start editing posts that show potential. Hope everyone is doing well with their sites!

Anyone who’s having trouble getting their site indexed, I’d suggest using the rank math instant indexing plugin. For Google you have to take a few extra steps, which sounds daunting, but it’s actually pretty easy if you use this post from Rank Math to walk you through it. Hope this helps! I’m off to a fast start with this challenge, as I was already sort of doing the same thing before it started… 570 new articles (19/day), and 79 clicks. I’m happy with the trajectory so far as impressions are heading up and right. Now for getting clicks to follow suit. I know that I need to go back and edit articles as they’re very basic and unedited so far and need to find a way to make that my priority. Here’s my update video:
