Bio

I graduated high school one month after the Apple I computer was put on the market. I served in the Army in a Nike Hercules Air Defense Unit, where we used a computer to guide the missiles. The computer was a 2 1/2 feet thick cabinet roughly 25 feet long, and all it did was calculate the trajectory of the missile and send it to its destination. It could only control the flight by sending signals guiding the missile left, right, nose up, or nose down. We could hit a 4″ (10cm) square target on the ground from over 300 miles away.
I never touched a computer until I was 30 years old, and it was at a vet clinic where I worked on a Mac 512.
I have sold computers at a call center for a computer company in Round Rock, Texas. I have also worked as a system administrator and a support supervisor for a web hosting company that started in Florida and moved to Houston.
Over the last 66 years, I’ve done everything. (Johnny Cash sang a song called “I’ve been Everywhere Man”, my song is “I’ve Done Everything, Man”.) Except build a successful online presence.
Thanks for kicking me in the seat of the pants with this AI competition, both of them (existing and new). I may not have much of a chance to win it, but I will be making some progress and learning some stuff.
